Jeff Parkhurst

Jeff Parkhurst has been an avid member of volunteer organizations throughout his life including Vermont Fish and Game, Boy Scouts of America, high school and college STEM Initiatives / mentoring, and most recently the Meriden Humane Society. Jeff and his wife Katie began volunteering for MHS as dog care volunteers in 2017 just after adopting their rescue dog Mandy from a rescue in Mississippi. In 2018 Jeff joined the MHS Board of Directors and has served as the organization’s Vice President and then President in the preceding years. Jeff holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Engineering (Aeronautical and Mechanical focus) from Daniel Webster College and Purdue University respectively and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. Jeff currently works at Sikorsky Aircraft, A Lockheed Martin Company as a manager and engineering team lead. When Jeff isn’t working or volunteering he enjoys home renovation and vehicle renovation projects and spending time with his young son Oak.
